Service Fuse Replacement
A service fuse is usually mounted where an overhead power cable attaches to a property. It is designed to protect power supply cables during major faults in your electrical installation.
A blown service fuse is often the cause of power loss to an individual property and requires replacement, which we can provide quickly and safely at any time of day. -
Ceramic Barge Fuse Replacement
Ceramic barge fuses are mounted at the point of attachment of your property. These fuse holders have been around for quite some time and over the years, the electrical contact between the fuse and fuse holder can become weak. This creates a ‘hot joint’, where there is small arcing between the two surfaces which heats up and ultimately fails.

Timber Block Replacement
A barge board is a timber block mounted at the front of a property where your overhead service attaches to. These timber blocks can fail overtime due to timber rot. If your timber block is split or rotten, it will require replacing soon rather than later.
